Caribbean Poker Regulations and Tricks

Online poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several variations on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to 21 than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little bluffing or other types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier saying "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different players attain five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you need to either make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your beginning wager, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your wager goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with a sum on par with the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The house pays cash equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
