Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the west in an awesome game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that players wager with other players. By betting against the dealer, beginning players do not have to fret about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers taking their mulla.
Another Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game play, newcomers can take their time and scheme without having to make frenzied selections.
It is also much simpler to participate in for a long time with just a small amount of cash after all, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the casino is given 7 cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand must be made from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
