Ah, the poker steam. If a poker player states never to have peered over the barrel of an upcoming poker tilt – they are either telling a lie or they have not been wagering long enough. Hands which commonly make players to go on tilt are hands that you were the favorite or at least thought you were up until you were rivered and you lost a large chunk of your stack. Bad beats are bound to develop. It is an inevitable outcome of competing in Texas Holdem, or for that matter any kind of poker.
Since we are assumingly (nearly all of us) in the game for one purpose – to win a profit, it will make sense that we will play accordingly to maximize our profit potential. Now let’s say you are up one hundred dollars off of a $100 deposit, and you suffer a large blow in a No Limits game and your stack is down to $120. You have squandered $80 in a hand where you should have picked up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and enjoyed a ten to one advantage. And that amateur! He sucked you out on the river? – Well hold it right here. This is a quintessential choice for a new gambler to begin tilting. They really just burned too much cash on one hand that they should have won and they are angry
