Online poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the croupier declares "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the other gamblers receive five cards. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s value is equal to your original ante, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your bet goes instantly to the bank. After the bet comes the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, plus a figure in accordance with the original wager. If the house does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The bank pays out money even with your original bet and set expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
