Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the wild west in an awesome game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the dealer, unlike almost all other poker games that players compete with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, beginner players do not need to fret about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers winning their $$$$.

A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, beginners are able to take their time and scheme without having to make hasty decisions.

It’s also much simpler to enjoy for a very long time with just a tiny bit of cash seeing as, to lose, both of your hands needs to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the house is given 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and a 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
