Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the western in a wonderful game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the house, not like almost all other poker games that players compete with other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, starting players do not have to be concerned about other, more knowledgeable gamblers winning their $$$$.

One more Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game play, newcomers should be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make hasty decisions.

It’s also simpler to play for an extended time with just a little bit of money since, to not win, both of your hands has to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the casino receives 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
