Online poker has become world famous recently, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little conniving or different kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier declares "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course all of the different gamblers acquire 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s value is equal to your original wager, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your bet goes instantly to the dealer. After the bet is the face off. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, including a figure equal to the original bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The bank pony’s up chips equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
