Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the wild west in a fantastic game for early level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the casino, unlike the majority of other poker games that players bet against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players do not need to fret about other, more experienced gamblers winning their moolla.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game play, beginners are able to take their time and plan without having to make frenzied choices.

It’s also much simpler to wager on for an extended time with only a small amount of money after all, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is given seven cards face up and the casino is dealt seven cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
